Value Bets 07.02.17

Noteworthy Value 07/02/17

Here @PricePerceivers try to pick out some value in what seems to be a scarce set of fixtures.

Morecambe Draw no Bet v Leyton Orient AWAY @ 11/10 (Best Bet):

Leyton Orient at the minute seem a club in turmoil. Constant turnover of managers and a long-running rift between the owner and fans has been reflected on the pitch with Orient now lying in the relegation zone. The O’s have lost 5 of their last 6 league games and their last 2 home games. Morecambe’s last 2 away games have been draws away to Doncaster and Carlisle, both of whom are sides in the automatic promotion places. Morecambe have lost just 1 of their last 6, which makes Draw no Bet appealing at 11/10 rather than the outright win at 2/1. Orient are a team worth opposing at the minute because of the situation they are in, while Morecambe have shown enough in recent away games, when you consider this, Morecambe Draw no Bet at 11/10 seems the best value of the day

Wycombe Draw no Bet v Coventry AWAY @ 11/10:

Like Orient, Coventry are a club in turmoil and sit bottom of League One. Conversely, Wycombe are flying and have lost just 2 of their last 19 games in all competitions, one of which was away to Spurs in a game where they held their own. Coventry have lost their last 2 home games and more generally, have not kept a clean sheet in any of their last 5 matches and have failed to score in 4 of those. Coventry did beat Wycombe 4-2 in this competition in November, however Gareth Ainsworth’s team seem to have found a new lease of life since then. Wycombe Draw no Bet at 11/10 seems a good price for an in form League Two team travelling to an out of sorts League One teams.

Monaco to beat Montpellier AWAY@ 4/5 (RISK):

Monaco are top of Ligue 1 having faced title challengers PSG and Nice in their last 2 games, drawing away to the first and beating the latter 3-0. Monaco are unbeaten in their last 6 away games, scoring 3 or more goals on 3 of those occasions. More generally, Monaco have won 4 of their last 5 away games and will be keen to push on from an impressive last 10 days in terms of Ligue 1 results. Montpellier have won 5 of their last 7 home games and have improvement greatly in recent months. However, Monaco’s form has been blistering of late and in any game in isolation they will fancy themselves to outscore the opposition and therefore the 4/5 on Monaco could be worth taking despite Montpellier’s resilience at home.
